Privacy Statement

We recognize the importance of protecting your privacy and keeping your personal information secure. The following is to help you understand what information we collect from you and what we do with that information.

INFORMATION THAT MAY BE COLLECTED

In order for a Circle of Wealthâ„¢ Advisor to provide you with the best possible recommendations as well as adhere to regulatory and legal requirements, we collect both personal and financial information about you during our interviews and appointments with you. This may include personal information such as your social security number, address, date of birth, marital status, health and family information. We also collect personal financial information such as assets, account numbers, risk tolerance, and financial planning and insurance objectives.

Any information you submit via the www.RetirementScore.com Web site directly to us is on a secure server and uses encryption for your data. On pages where you are submitting data, often you will see a lock symbol in the lower right-hand corner of your browser window, or the Web address of the page you are viewing will begin with "https://...". The "s" indicates "secured" and means the Web page uses encryption. The servers we use provide 128-bit encryption - the highest level commercially available today.

WHAT WE DO WITH INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT

Information collected is used to develop and execute financial and insurance planning recommendations. This information is only forwarded to professional and support personnel on a need-to-know basis in order to provide these services to you. Collected information is stored in written form and/or electronically in databases and software. Personal information is not sold or leased to any other party for any reason or use.

We do not disclose personal information about our customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law (such as compliance with a subpoena, fraud prevention, or compliance with an inquiry from a government agency or regulator).

INFORMATION THAT MAY BE COLLECTED BY ASSOCIATED INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRMS

Upon the application for insurance or other related financial services products, additional information may be collected by the specific insurance company or financial services company to which the application or purchase is submitted. For example, life insurance and long term care insurance is underwritten based upon medical records and histories; therefore, in the process of applying for insurance, the insurer will generally obtain non-public information as part of the normal course of determining your eligibility for an insurance policy. This non-public information may involve your health and financial history information. These associated insurance and financial services companies maintain their own privacy policies and notices, a copy of which you will be provided as needed and appropriate.
